Most furnaces use standard No. 2 Heating Oil. Some systems can use Kerosene (K-1). Please refer to your furnace manual if you are unsure. You can also choose to order Bioheat (B20), a cleaner-burning blend with 20% biodiesel, for improved performance.

• Bobtail (Standard) - The standard delivery truck used by most heating oil suppliers. Select this if you have no access issues to your property or oil tank.
• Small Truck (Tight Access) - Required if you have tight corners, low bridges, narrow driveways, or vehicle restrictions. These trucks are smaller and can navigate where a standard bobtail cannot.

If unsure, select Bobtail and add a note in the Special Instructions when ordering. Your supplier will contact you if they need to send a smaller truck.

Delivery times vary by supplier and product. Products are listed with their delivery timeframes (e.g. "3 business day delivery"). Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 2pm are treated as the next business day.

Yes. All orders are processed over a secure HTTPS connection. When you place an order, the supplier will contact you to arrange payment directly. The Fuelyard does not process payments - we simply connect you with the cheapest supplier.
